Education

Over the last three years, The Ohio State University's DARPA Grand Challenge team has been directly involved in classroom activities. The first classroom effort took place Winter Quarter 2004 where students learned about Terramax in ECE 753.02 Autonomy in Vehicles.

Last year, the Grand Challenge team was again involved with undergraduate students as part of their senior design project. Several groups of students competed to design various modules that could be implemented on ION in ECE 683.

This year, the ECE 683 senior design class will focus on a number of the sensing and control tasks related to autonomous urban driving.
