ECE 683 Team Design Project - WI 2007

Members of Professor Ozguner's ECE 683 class winter quarter will be a part of the DARPA Urban Grand Challenge - Team ACT.

ECE 683 will be held in the Intelligent Systems and Digital Control Laboratory of Dreese Labs 731. All students intending to take ECE 683 in the winter should browse through the recommended readings.

The design challenge for 683 in the winter will involve the red wheeled robot pictured below. Groups will design a module that may eventually be used on the ACT vehicle for the DARPA Urban Grand Challenge. The tasks will involve robot control and path following, interacting with other moving vehicles, and negotiating intersections and obstacles.
